The song (Diamonds) is performed by Barbadian singer Rihanna, taken from her 7th album “Unapologetic”. It was released on 27 September, 2012 through Def Jam Recordings. It was produced by StarGate and Benny Blanco, and written by Benjamin Levin, Sia Furler, Tor Erik and Mikkel Eriksen.

The song received mixed reviews from the critics. Brittany Lewis commented that “an attractive track , and pointed out the capability to offer Rihanna one more hit.” James Montgomery of MTV noted that “It is a mid-tempo track , it can be more constructive compared to Rihanna’s preceding songs such as Where Have You Been & We Found Love.” Jim Farber commented that “much less haunting because it longs to be , as well as was poor of the not enough mystery.”

The music video was filmed in Los Angeles on 21 October, 2012. The song was debuted at number 17 on the Irish Singles chart. After sales of 105,000 copies, it was debuted at number 1 on the UK Singles chart and was at number 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and at number 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. It was also debuted at number 3 on the Canadian Hot 100 after the strong sales.
