These days, every ‘Stay with me’ by Sam Smith review may come as a refreshing digest. That is because the 21-year-old British crooner has found a way to be on top of his game. It seems that his time to brace the limelight has arrived. And we can imagine this recording artist hoping that attention stays with him.

The promising cover star renders a stellar performance in this single. Many reviewers think that if every Sam Smith song would be formulated this way, he can easily catch further attention. But of course, doing so may be risky on the artist’s part as it may set limitations to what he can do with his craft.

The chorus is slightly over-sentimental. One can easily notice that it swells into what seems like an emotional crescendo. Smith’s soulful and impressive singing voice outstrips the rousing music background. Lyrically, the song talks about feeling defeated by a person’s fleeting fling. Overall, this single provides good and relaxing listening experience. Let’s wait how Smith’s next single fares in the charts.

  1. well never done this before but leaving a comment really like this song ….stay with me, it really resonates and if I ever drop an album or become the songwriter I always wanted to be I hope someone would do the same for me……would be nice..lol.

  2. I have played music for 48 years, after hearing another English surprise called the Beatles. It did something to me it opened up my soul and gave me something I was missing and I have loved music ever since. I never thought it would happen again and then there was this dude named Jimi Hendrix and wham I was hooked, MUSIC was what I was missing. But to be honest it has been a long time since I felt my soul jump with happiness and excitement Like it did when I heard the Beatles, Hendrix or for that matter Aretha Franklin but when I heard SAM SMITH he did it. Sam you make music soulful, you ROCK——— your 60 YEAR OLD blues guitar player from the states wants you to know I think your great!!!!!!! LC

  3. i like this. why? because of how much emotion he actually put into this song. Unlike other songs about bu*ts and s*x. This one shows what true music songs are, and also makes you remeber of the past and who you loved

  4. He is a great singer, I love this song. It comes from the soul, its so beautiful, peaceful and this voice is really perfect. You are a great man Sir, you make the world feel love. Thanks.
